For a long time, we thought airport lounges were simply a place to grab some food before boarding.
But after visiting lounges around the world, we realized they entirely change the way a journey begins.
Instead of rushing through crowded terminals, travel suddenly feels slower, calmer and far more enjoyable.
Of course, the food and drinks are part of the experience.
But what really stands out are the quiet spaces, comfortable seating, showers, beautiful interiors and the feeling that time suddenly slows down.
Some lounges even offer dedicated Champagne bars, à-la-carte dining or barista-made coffee.

Some of our most memorable lounge experiences include the Emirates Business Class Lounge in Munich, the Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge at DXB Airport and the Business Class lounges throughout Dubai International Airport.
Each offers a completely different atmosphere—but all share one thing: they transform waiting into part of the journey.
These days, we often arrive at the airport earlier than necessary—not because we have to, but because we genuinely enjoy spending time there.
For us, airport lounges have become part of the destination itself, turning the first hours of every trip into something worth looking forward to.
